Why did I skip a year in review for 2022? I’m a bit miffed that I neglected to jot down even a quick summary. In hindsight, 2022 & 2023 were a big year of growth for me with a topic where I had the most room to grow; romantic relationships. I walked away from 2022, and 2023 with a better understanding of what will work for Mark Dorsey and what won’t. More importantly, I gained the insight to make smart decisions based on that understanding so I no longer put myself into situations that are are not the best use of my time.

I traveled quite a bit in both years. Finally made it to Banff and it did not disappoint! Stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs which is basically a castle in the mountains and had the most lovely time. What a beautiful area, I can’t wait to go back. One year ago today I also got to stay in the world famous Post Hotel in Leavenworth. Was originally scheduled to be there for 2 days but that trip got extended when we were snowed in, at Christmas. Not a bad place to be stuck! I’ve already made reservations for next Christmas at the Post Hotel and I can’t wait. Many trips to the San Juans were had as well as a ton of boating here in the South Puget Sound.

Classic Boston Whaler Katama
Beautiful shot of Mt. Rainier
I also traveled quite a bit for work (Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Boston). I had never been to Boston before and was smitten by the energy. I have not ruled out moving there for a few years to soak up the experience.
Healthwise I am crushing it. I have been lifting weights 3-5 times per week as my core exercise and I feel amazing. I’m eating clean and my mental state is as clear as it’s ever been. I like where my life is at and 2024 is looking incredible.
Merry Christmas to you and your families. I am grateful for your time reading my year in review and feel free to link your year in review so I can see what you’ve been up to.
